Situated right on the pristine greens, this brand new elevated clubhouse is an amazing venue to host your event in! Capture the very best of the exciting Clifton setting including incredible sunsets! Host your event with us - including celebrations of any type, corporate events, team building and more. The Clubhouse has a bar, seating and there are braai facilities available. Select and bring your own catering choices. Bring your own furniture or decor. Our friendly staff will be on hand to serve and assist. PLUS Book Bowls to entertain your guests or team and our fantastic bowling members will be available to teach and guide you right on the greens!

Absolutely outstanding venue for a special event! For my brother’s bachelor party we had a Bowls Event (30 people who had never played bowls before) at the Glen Country Club and it was a massive success - the club exceeded all expectations from start to finish. The logistics were impeccable, with Len answering all my questions and ensuring that everything ran smoothly on the day. The club organised 3 facilitators who explained the rules and managed the play on the day, making the day stress-free for the organisers. The venue itself is great - views from the greens are amazing and we used both the bungalow at the greens and then booked out the bar and patio for the meal to be served. Finally, the friendliness of the other club members made for a day where everyone felt welcome. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

A really very nice club. The enthusiasm of the bowlers and Grant and his management team make for a professional yet friendly and informal social atmosphere. I am told that bowls is being strongly encouraged amongst the local youth, and the weekly barefoot bowls seem to, weather permitting becoming very popular.

BOOKING INFO

Our venue hire team will remain your point of contact for the entire duration of your event, ensuring that your requirements are met. Our services include:

Booking venue, securing contracts and venue payment
Facilitating full pre-payment, venue rental and all orders
All on-site requirements during event
Reconciliation, final invoicing and final payment
Booking of repeat events

PROCESS

Please note that the following terms and conditions apply for the booking of events.

Full hire charge is payable to confirm booking
Liquor purchases, if on a tab, to be settled at the end of the function
No outside music speakers or bands are permitted on the patio adjoining The Bungalow Restaurant
Hire charge is not refundable in the event of cancellation
In terms of the Club Liquor Licence NO beverages bought outside are permitted to be brought into the Club
Cooking is only permitted in the kitchen or patio if braai/spit etc.
No posters or decorative items are permitted to be stuck onto bare walls
Last drinks order at 11:30 – Bar closes at 12:00
